This is a weekly tutorial live for Houdini to introduce some of the interesting algorithmic design process. This week I’m going to show how to simulate so called Canadian Smocking (sewing technique that involves gathering fabric in a specific pattern to create a three-dimensional textured surface) using Vellum and few tips to have better result.
